Tsunami experiment

 

 Did you know the word "Tsunami" in japenese is harbour wave.

A Tsunami can be caused by an earthquake. Yesterday, we done an experiment on Tsunamis. First we got a long grey tray then we got and then we got some sand and put it in on one side after that we put bioshields in the front of the sand to protect the Tsunami from getting in.

Next, we built paper houses and put it some were along the sand. After tha we added some water to the other half then we got our camera out and recorded what we were going to do next. Next we got a hard board and put it on the water side and pushed the board against the water and made the water hit the sand and tried to see what would happen the results was half destroyed half ok.
